Cohort Rotation for Blended Learning Students
Beginning on Monday, April 26th, Flushing High School will transition to a two cohort rotation for blended learning students. Students in Cohort A will report to the building Mondays and Wednesdays. Students in Cohort B will report to the building Tuesdays and Thursdays. Friday will remain a remote learning day for all students. What this means is that each blended learning student only reports into the building two days per week.
The decision to return to the cohort model ensures that we continue to comply with the health and safety standards set forth by the CDC and provide a safe environment for all our students and staff. In addition, all students must have a valid COVID consent form on file to enter the building. Please follow the Department of Education’s protocol for completing the form if you have not done so already.
Please note, if you want to transition to REMOTE learning only the learning preference survey is still available and you may switch at any time. Complete this request if you have no intention of returning to the building. This is extremely important as it allows us to properly plan for all students. Note, once a student switches to remote learning, they cannot switch back again this school year. Thank you for your continued support.
