The concert will be on Tuesday, April 27th at 6:30PM.

 

The Chorus performed in the concert last year and has been invited back to perform again.

 

These concerts are promoted by Perform America, a concert promotion agency affiliated with Avery Fisher Hall and other concert halls around the world. There will be about seven other high schools performing from around the Tri-state area. Most of the schools are private schools from out of state, and last year, Flushing was the only public school on the program.

 

Needless to say, this rare opportunity is an honor for us, and it is a challenge that will require focus, determination and character from each and every chorus member. Thank you to the Flushing HS community for your support.

 

Tickets are $25.00 and can be purchased from either one of the chorus members or from Mr. Kevin Mullany, in Room 155. If you write a check, please make it out to Flushing High School Chorus/Avery Fisher Fund.

 

The chorus was given a very generous $1,500.00 donation by Ms. Michelle Feuer. She is our primary sponsor, however, even with the steep discount that has been given to us by Perform America, the performance time still costs $4,500.00. We have $2,300.00 more to go. The rest of the sponsorship are the ticket buyers.

 

Anyone can attend, however, please understand that this is a very prestigious concert hall. Proper etiquette will be required.
