Mandated Budget Cut to Custodial Operations
A mandated $10 million budget cut to custodial operations is effective July 1. This cut is targeted toward custodial labor as part of the DOE’s efforts to preserve funding directly allocated to the classroom, and is expected to have a direct impact on the custodial services performed in each building. |

Principal's Response to May 27th, 2011 Media Report
At approximately 9:35 a.m. today, the High School office received a call about a student having a weapon in the classroom. The student was removed from the classroom and asked to empty out his backpack. One of the contents presented was a TOY gun, which was a replica of an uzi with the end colored black. |

Appropriate Warm Weather Attire - Reminder
Announcements will be made once a week reminding students of the policy. Students who dress inappropriately will be asked either to wear a freshly laundered tee shirt provided by the school or if necessary, parents must be called to school to provide appropriate clothing or to take their children home to change. |
