Experiences from the past make you who you are now

Dancing! More specifically "Breakdancing"! It was one of the reasons I was excited to be a student at Flushing High School (FHS).

After waiting two grueling weeks for the dancing program to begin, I was well on my way to becoming the person I am today.

I fell in love with the dance my very first day there and have been doing it since then.

Luckily, the program also assisted me in my studies. I was provided with a place to work, tutors, workshops, as well as free S.A.T. preparations.

Unfortunately, a lot of my realizations happened after my stay at FHS. But, my epiphanies were based on my experiences there. I will never forget some of my experiences in FHS. But those are for another day.

Till then, take care. And remember, have fun, stay confident, keep your heads high as well as in the books.
