The Office of School and Youth Development is inviting one or more of our deans, counserlors, and/or teachers to take the Life Space Crisis Intervention (LSCI) couurse, a nationally recognized professional certification program. 

 

Participants will learn effective strategies and skills for their daily work with students, especially those students who engage in persistent negative behaviors.

 

The LSCI traiing is a six day course.  Attendance at all sessions is required.

 

Cohort A:

Mondays and Tuesdays, July 12,13,19,20,26,27, 2010.  (8:45am-3pm).

Marte Valle High School; 145 Stanton Street; NYC 10002.

 

Cohort B:

Wednesdays and Thursdays, July 14,15,21,22,28,29, 2010

(Time and place same as Cohort A)

 

Registration is due no later than June 1, 2010.
